Beef Stew Surprise

OK, that isn't a fair title, but it is accurate. Heather takes beef stew meat, lightly dusts it with flour, browns it, then it varies from there. Last night it was onion, bell pepper, beef stock, and cabernet. The trusty Lodge dutch oven was used again. She appeased me by making brown rice and steaming some broccoli.
Then we had some of C's Creme Brulee. More on that later....
